1960年代以降のロレックスは、基本的にどのモデルもお薦めだ。具体的には、ムーブメントの名前が、15＊＊という物を買っておけば、まず間違いないだろう。ただしレアものはプレミアが付いて高価過ぎるし、1990年代以前のロレックスの黒文字盤は大変傷みやすい。筆者が買うならば、銀文字盤が付いた、普通の「デイトジャスト」だろうか。いかにもロレックスという見た目さえ気にならなければ、今もって、もっとも実用に向く時計のひとつである。
